Hey readers! Bet you didn't think I'd be back this soon, haha. I wanted to talk to you about the Kindle.
I have 2 Kindles, a Kindle Keyboard and a Kindle Fire. Before I even owned an actual Kindle I had the Kindle app and several books on my iPhone. Kindle is pretty much the only non-Apple electronic I own, but but maybe I'll convince you to drink that Kool-Aid another day :)
If you own a Kindle or even have the Kindle app on your phone or computer, there are 2 websites you MUST check out: PixelofInk.com and InspiredReads.com. These 2 sites list free or reduced Kindle book. Pixel of Ink is any and every kind of book, while Inspired Reads is Christian books. I have got LOTS of Bible studies, church history stuff, etc. from Inspired Reads, but they also have Christian Fiction. I "liked" both on Facebook, so anytime they post new books it automatically posts on my Facebook feed. I don't even have to check the sites!
There are some other ways to read Kindle books for free. If you have a library card, many libraries now loan Kindle books through the OverDrive service. Amazon has started the Kindle Owners Lending Library. If you have Amazon Prime, which I do, you can check out one available book a month for free. And of course most classics are free as long as the copyright has expired, which applies to any book published before 1923.
